Product Information

Part number: rad20 - 0607. High - powered modified Subaru engines often produce excessive blow - by oil and gases. An ordinary small catch can may fill up quickly and won't do the job. Just like the Radium Engineering Subaru Dual Catch Can Kit, the AOS (Air Oil Separator) kit keeps blow - by oil and other pollutants out of the intake pipe, manifold, turbocharger, and intercooler under all engine loads. The big difference is that the AOS - 'R' system sends the collected oil back to the oil pan, so no servicing is needed. It has a built - in heater to stop water from condensing. There's an integrated water trap at the bottom of the can because water is denser than oil. This stops water from getting into the oil pan. Also, with the water trapped near the heater, it will boil and evaporate out of the system. The AOS is made of three CNC - machined sections that screw together and are sealed with O - rings.

Using this air oil separator is easy. Just install it according to the provided instructions on your Subaru STi (2008 - 2021) or WRX (2008 - 2014). It'll work automatically to keep blow - by oil and pollutants away from important engine parts. As for maintenance, since it has an AOS - 'R' system that returns the collected oil to the oil pan, you don't need to do regular servicing. But it's a good idea to check the water trap from time to time. Make sure there's no excessive water build - up. If you notice any leaks or unusual noises, stop using the vehicle and check the AOS. Also, keep the AOS clean to ensure it works well. You can use a soft cloth to wipe it down if it gets dirty.
