Product Information

Part #: COP - 560. Enjoy a limited lifetime warranty and download the manual. This amazing tool allows you to easily remove and install transmission and differential bearing carriers (aka sundial). It's great for replacing differentials, axle seals, and setting bearing preload. Operate it with your preferred 1/2' drive ratcheting socket wrench. Unlike other methods, it won't mar, crack, or damage sundials. CNC - cut from high - grade carbon steel and hand - welded in Wisconsin, it can replace factory tool #18630AA000. Note: This product isn't designed for use with an impact wrench. Never use an impact wrench to rotate the bearing carriers with this sundial tool. It works with most Subaru automatic transmissions from 1993+, most 5sp and 6sp manual transmissions from '93+, and some Subaru rear differentials. We suggest referring to the factory service manual or the 'Works with' image.

How to use: First, make sure you have a 1/2' drive ratcheting socket wrench. Use the tool to remove and install the transmission and differential bearing carriers. You can also use it for jobs like replacing differentials and axle seals. Just attach it and start working. Note: Don't use an impact wrench with this tool, as it may cause damage. Maintenance: After using the tool, clean it with a dry cloth. Keep it in a dry place to prevent rust. If you have any questions, refer to the factory service manual.
