Product Information

Fitment: This set of connecting rods fits 2002 - 2005 Subaru WRX and 2004 - 2021 Subaru STI. Note that these rods work only with an aftermarket piston in an EJ255 engine, no tapered connecting rod required. Features: Manley Performance makes top - notch steel connecting rods in the Sport Compact field. The Pro Series 'I' Beam is forged from 4340 aircraft - quality vacuum - degassed material. With the proven 'Turbo Tuff' design and 3/8' ARP 2000 cap screws, they're shot peened after machining and 100% magnafluxed. These Turbo Tuff connecting rods are favored by top tuners in high - horsepower engines. All rod sets are weight - matched to ± 1.5 grams, with big and small end bores honed to ± .0002'. The final inspection ensures every detail is perfect. Sold as a set of four. Suitable for Subaru EJ205 and EJ257 engines. Specs: Big End Bore 2.165', Big End Width .840', Center - to - Center 5.141', Pin Bore .9063', Pin Diameter .905' (23mm), Weight 613g.

Using these connecting rods is straightforward. First, make sure your vehicle is either a 2002 - 2005 Subaru WRX or a 2004 - 2021 Subaru STI. If you're using an EJ255 engine, you need an aftermarket piston that doesn't require a tapered connecting rod. During installation, follow the standard procedures for your engine type. Remember, these rods come as a set of four. As for maintenance, keep your engine clean and well - lubricated. Regularly check the rods for any signs of wear or damage, like unusual noises or vibrations. If you notice anything off, have a professional mechanic take a look. This will help keep your engine running smoothly and your connecting rods in good shape.
