Product Information

This service package is specifically crafted for the initial engine break - in period. It comes with 5 quarts of MOTUL 10w40 / 3000 4T Break - In oil (6 quarts are available for high - capacity oil pans such as the Killer B KIT - OILCHANGE - 14), and 1 Subaru oil filter. The kit includes 5 Motul 1QT Classic BREAK - IN OIL 10W40 (product code 108080), 1 Subaru OEM Oil Filter (product code 15208AA100), and 1 Subaru OEM Crush Gasket (product code 11126AA000). It fits 2002 - 2014 WRX, 2004 - 2021 STI, 2005 - 2009 Legacy GT / Outback XT, and 2004 - 2008 Forester XT.

Using this service package is easy. First, make sure your car engine is cool. Drain the old oil from your engine and replace the old oil filter with the Subaru OEM Oil Filter provided in the kit. Then, install the new Subaru OEM Crush Gasket. Pour the MOTUL Break - In oil into the engine. Use 5 quarts as standard, but if you have a high - capacity oil pan like the Killer B KIT - OILCHANGE - 14, you can use 6 quarts. Check the oil level with the dipstick to ensure it's at the proper level. When handling the oil, avoid spillage and keep it away from open flames. After the break - in period, you may need to change the oil again according to your car's manual. Keep the engine well - maintained by regularly checking the oil level and replacing the filter as recommended.
