This oil change kit is great for the initial break - in of your Subaru engine. To use it, first, make sure your engine is cool. Then, locate the oil drain plug and place a drain pan under it. Remove the drain plug and let the old oil drain out. Replace the old drain plug crush gasket with the new one included in the kit and reinstall the drain plug. Next, remove the old oil filter and replace it with the new Subaru OEM oil filter. Finally, pour in the 6 quarts of MOTUL 10w40 break - in oil. When handling the oil, be careful not to spill it. After the oil change, check for any leaks. It's a good idea to change the oil again after a few thousand miles to keep your engine in top shape.
