Product Information

This service package is specifically crafted for the initial engine break - in period. It comes with 5 Quarts of MOTUL 10w40 / 3000 4T Break - In oil (you can opt for 6 Quarts if you have a high - capacity oil pan like the Killer B KIT - OILCHANGE - 20), and 1 K&N oil filter. Inside the package, you'll find 5 units of Motul 1QT Classic BREAK - IN OIL 10W40 (product number 108080), 1 K&N Oil Filter (model HP - 1008), and 1 Subaru OEM Crush Gasket (part number 11126AA000). It fits 2002 - 2014 WRX, 2004 - 2021 STI, 2005 - 2009 Legacy GT / Outback XT, and 2004 - 2008 Forester XT models.

To use this Subaru engine break - in oil change service package, first, make sure your vehicle is turned off and has cooled down. Drain the old oil from your engine. Then, install the new Subaru OEM Crush Gasket on the oil drain plug and tighten it properly. Next, replace the old oil filter with the included K&N Oil Filter HP - 1008. Pour in the MOTUL 10w40 break - in oil. Use 5 quarts as standard, but if you have a high - capacity oil pan like the Killer B KIT - OILCHANGE - 20, you can use 6 quarts. After that, start your engine and let it run for a few minutes, then check for any oil leaks. As for maintenance, during the break - in period, avoid hard acceleration and high - speed driving. Keep an eye on the oil level regularly and change the oil again after the recommended break - in miles as specified in your vehicle's manual.
