Product Information

This GFB Pulley Kit includes the crank, alternator, and power steering pulleys, along with the installation belt. Heavy stock pulleys waste power that could be used to move your car. This kit replaces the crank pulley with a lighter one, underdriving the power steering and alternator while keeping the A/C compressor running at normal speed. Part #: 2014. Noticeable weight reduction: Stock Crank Pulley is 5.51lb (STI) / 4.63lb (WRX), while GFB's is only .86lb. Stock Power Steering Pulley is .81lb, GFB's is .37lb. Stock Alternator Pulley is .36lb, GFB's is .14lb. Total Mass for GFB Pulley Kit is 1.38lb, and for stock pulleys it's 6.69lb (STI) / 5.81lb (WRX), saving 5.31lb (STI) / 4.43lb (WRX). Alternator Underdrive is 16.5%, Power Steering Underdrive is 18%, and there's no A/C Underdrive.

Using the Go Fast Bits Underdrive Pulley Kit is straightforward. First, make sure your car engine is turned off and cooled down. Remove the old crank, alternator, and power steering pulleys one by one, then install the new pulleys from the kit in their place and put on the provided belt. When it comes to maintenance, regularly check the tightness of the belt. If it becomes loose, you may need to adjust it. Also, inspect the pulleys for any signs of wear or damage. If you notice any issues, it's best to replace the affected pulley right away. Remember, before starting any installation or maintenance work, it's always a good idea to refer to your car's manual for specific instructions.
