Product Information

Part #: SMY - PTFEFLX - UPGRADE. The SMY Flex Fuel upgrade hose is a must - have for setting up your fuel line when adding a Flex Fuel Kit. Even if you already own SMY top feed fuel line kits and wish to integrate a Flex Fuel Kit, this kit is essential. It features the latest fuel fittings and hoses in the market, offering an unbeatable setup. Key features include a 6an PTFE fuel line (stainless steel braided with PVC coated hoses), forged fittings, 2 x 6an to EFI adapters for connecting to the Flex Fuel Sensor, E85 compatibility, and it makes adding Flex Fuel kits a breeze. The kit includes 1 pre - assembled PTFE - 6 fuel line with fittings and 2 x 3/8 EFI Quick Disconnect AN Fittings. It's suitable for 2002 - 2007 WRX (with aftermarket top feed fuel rails), 2004 - 2006 STI (with aftermarket top feed fuel rails TGVs), 2007 STI (with aftermarket top feed fuel rails), 2008 - 2014 WRX (with aftermarket top feed fuel rails), 2008 - 2014 STI (with aftermarket top feed fuel rails), and 2015 - 2021 STI (with aftermarket top feed fuel rails).

Using this SMY Flex Fuel upgrade hose kit is easy. First, make sure your vehicle is turned off and the engine is cool. Locate your existing fuel line and carefully remove it. Then, take the pre - assembled PTFE - 6 fuel line from the kit and connect it using the provided fittings. Attach the 6an to EFI adapters to the Flex Fuel Sensor. Remember, this kit is E85 compatible, so you can use it with E85 fuel without any issues. When it comes to maintenance, regularly check the hoses for any signs of wear or damage, like cracks or leaks. If you notice any problems, replace the damaged parts right away. Always follow the safety guidelines when working with fuel systems. If you're unsure about anything, it's a good idea to consult a professional mechanic.
