Sticker Fab OLM Headlight Smoked / Black Out Overlays
Amazingly, a simple overlay can completely transform your vehicle's look. By darkening the side of the OLM Headlights, you can eliminate the bright orange sidemarker and make the large lens less prominent.
These overlays cover the side and top of the headlight lens.
NOTE: They only fit OLM Hikari headlights. As of February 2021, we've added Black Out material with air egress channels for easy installation, preventing bubble formation.
INSTALLATION
Keep a hair dryer or heat gun handy. Wash your hands and clean the area. Make some soapy water (a drop of dish soap in a cup of water). You can apply it to the back of the overlay and the lens. This lets you move the overlay around and squeegee out air bubbles. Use your fingers to avoid scratching the material.
Apply the overlay and align the larger part first. Then check the smaller top area. Once satisfied, push out water and air bubbles. You can make small adjustments with a bit of heat. Just don't burn your fingers or the vinyl. Work towards the end of the top and push down any vinyl over the lens edge.
These Sticker Fab OLM Hikari headlight smoked/black out overlays are a great way to change the look of your 2015 - 2021 Subaru WRX/STI. They fit only OLM Hikari headlights. To install, keep a hair dryer or heat gun nearby. Wash your hands and clean the area. Make a soapy - water solution and apply it to the overlay and the lens. Use your fingers to place and adjust the overlay. Align the larger part first, then the top. Push out water and air bubbles. You can use a bit of heat to make small adjustments, but be careful not to burn the vinyl. As for maintenance, just clean them gently with a soft cloth and mild cleaner from time to time. Remember, they're designed for OLM Hikari headlights only, so don't try to use them on other types of headlights.
