Product Information

Part #: COP-513. This amazing tool enables engine builders to rotate a whole engine using any 1/2" ratchet or breaker bar. It's a great help when you're replacing the timing belt or doing other engine work, as it makes it super easy to locate TDC. Here are its great features: The crankshaft rotating socket easily slips over the crank snout. It allows engine builders to rotate the full engine with any ½” ratchet or breaker bar. It's designed for easy TDC location during timing belt replacement or other engine jobs. Its low profile height gives you easy access. It gets rid of the risk of crankshaft snout damage and backwards engine rotation. It's made of CNC machined steel for long - lasting use and is comparable to factory tool #499987500. WARNING: Never use an impact wrench with the crank socket to rotate the engine. It works with: 93 - 11 Subaru Imprezas, 02 - 14 wrx/sti, 98 - 09 Subaru Foresters, 94 - 09 Subaru Legacys, 04 - 06 Subaru Baja, 91 - 96 Subaru SVX, 05 - 06 Saab 9 - 2X.

Using this crankshaft socket is a breeze. First, just slip the crankshaft rotating socket over the crank snout. Then, attach any 1/2" ratchet or breaker bar to start rotating the engine. This is very useful when you need to replace the timing belt or do other engine work, as it helps you easily find the TDC. There are a few important things to note. Never use an impact wrench with this socket to rotate the engine, as it can cause damage. When it comes to maintenance, since it's made of CNC machined steel, it's built to last. However, you should keep it clean and dry to prevent rust. After each use, wipe it down and store it in a safe place. That way, this tool will serve you well for a long time.
