Product Information

This Blouch TD05H - 16GXT turbocharger is a perfect fit for 2002 - 2007 Subaru WRX and 2004 - 2021 Subaru STI models. It combines the advanced aerodynamics of the Blouch 41 lb/min fully - machined billet XT compressor in a TD05 compressor housing with a custom high - flow, low - inertia TD05H turbine in an 8cm² nozzle area turbine housing. This setup ensures quick response. The WRX/STI TD05H - 16GXT is a direct - bolt - on upgrade. It comes fully assembled with coolant pipes and a turbo oil drain tube, and you can install it without modifying the intake, exhaust, oil, and coolant connections. Key features include a 410HP horsepower rating, an 8cm² nozzle area turbine housing, a standard wastegate actuator calibrated at 18 PSI, an internal wastegate actuator, a ceramic - coated turbine housing, new downpipe and up - pipe gaskets, and pre - installed coolant pipes and turbo oil drain tube.

Using this turbocharger is quite straightforward. First, make sure your Subaru WRX (2002 - 2007) or STI (2004 - 2021) is turned off and cooled down. Since it's a direct - bolt - on upgrade, you can simply attach it to the existing intake, exhaust, oil, and coolant connections without any modifications. The coolant pipes and turbo oil drain tube are already installed, so you don't have to worry about that. When it comes to maintenance, regularly check the oil levels as proper lubrication is crucial for the turbocharger's performance. Also, keep an eye on the wastegate actuator. If you notice any abnormal noises or a drop in performance, it might be a sign that something needs attention. Make sure to use high - quality engine oil and follow the manufacturer's recommended service intervals. When driving, try to let the engine idle for a short time before turning it off to allow the turbocharger to cool down properly. This will help extend its lifespan.
