The Blouch Dominator 3.5XT-R features our new 58lb/min fully machined billet 'XT-R' compressor wheel in a 3' inlet bellmouth compressor housing. It uses a Garrett GT full ball bearing system, a high - efficiency Garrett GT turbine wheel, and the new Blouch 10cm2 turbine housing. The new XT - R billet compressor wheels are outstanding. They generate more horsepower and torque at lower boost pressures compared to traditional compressor wheels. The Garrett GT turbine and ball bearing system, developed in racing, are key to turbocharger performance. The Blouch 10cm2 turbine housing reduces turbine inlet pressure and engine pumping losses, freeing up extra torque and horsepower. It's so effective that customers have used it on competitors' turbos to boost performance. This stock - location bolt - on Subaru turbocharger uses advanced technology to support 580 horsepower efficiently, with an unbeatable fit in the industry. Only available at Blouch Performance Turbo! Using the Blouch Dominator 3.5XT - R turbocharger is simple. First, make sure your vehicle is a Subaru WRX from 2002 - 2007 or an STI from 2004 - 2021. This is a bolt - on upgrade, but it requires a 3' inlet. You'll also need to do TGV deletes and we strongly suggest using an external gate to get the best performance. When it comes to maintenance, keep an eye on the ball bearing system. Check it regularly for any signs of wear or damage. The compressor and turbine wheels are built to last, but a visual inspection every now and then can't hurt. Also, make sure to keep the exhaust housing clean.
