Product Information

Fitment Information: These Manley H - Beam connecting rods are a perfect fit for 2002 - 2005 Subaru WRX and 2004 - 2021 Subaru STI models. Features: Manley has been in the engine internals business since 1966, supplying parts for cars like the Ford GT. Their Turbo Tuff line is top - notch, but the H - Beam rods offer a lower - cost alternative. Partially made in China and finished in the US, they cut costs without sacrificing quality. They're a great alternative to Eagle rods. These rods are weight - matched within +/- 1.5 grams and have perfectly rounded ends. Ideal for street applications up to 600 wheel horsepower. Sold as a set of four (4) connecting rods for Subaru EJ205 and EJ257 engines. Specs: Big End Bore: 2.164', Big End Width:.840', Center - to - Center: 5.137', Pin Bore:.9063', Pin Diameter:.905' (23mm), Weight: 535g. Manley Pistons can be bought separately here at IIR.

Using these Manley H - Beam connecting rods is straightforward. First, make sure your car is a 2002 - 2005 Subaru WRX or 2004 - 2021 Subaru STI. If you're using an EJ255 engine, you'll need an aftermarket piston that doesn't require a tapered connecting rod. When installing, check that the rods are weight - matched within the specified range and that the ends are properly rounded. As for maintenance, keep an eye on the engine's performance. If you notice any strange noises or reduced power, it might be time to inspect the rods. Regularly check the engine oil for any signs of metal shavings, which could indicate wear. Also, follow the recommended service intervals for your vehicle to ensure the longevity of these connecting rods.
