Using this oil change kit is easy. First, make sure your car engine is cool. Park your car on a flat surface and locate the oil drain plug under the engine. Place an oil drain pan beneath it and remove the plug to drain the old oil. Once all the old oil is out, replace the drain plug. Then, take the Subaru OEM oil filter included in the kit and replace the old one. Remember to lubricate the gasket of the new filter with a bit of new oil before installing it.
