Using this tool is easy. First, make sure your Subaru vehicle is parked on a flat surface and the engine is cool. Then, find the transmission drain plug that fits the T70 Torx size. Attach the tool to a 1/2' drive ratchet or other compatible device. Turn the tool counter - clockwise to remove the drain plug and allow the transmission fluid to drain. When you're done, clean the drain plug and re - install it by turning the tool clockwise. As for maintenance, after each use, wipe the tool clean with a dry cloth.
