Product Information

Part #: TR - TS1012. Tomioka Racing's Twin Scroll Turbo line is a dream come true for Subaru enthusiasts! It's an efficient and cost - effective option to replace or upgrade your Subaru's twin scroll setup. These days, twin scroll turbos are rare, but the Tomioka Turbo is a direct bolt - on. It comes with a USDM length twin - scroll downpipe and offers more boost power than the standard VF series turbo. With its TD06 housing and twin - scroll design, it improves spool time compared to the standard TD06 turbo. Kit includes: Twin Scroll Turbo, Twin Scroll Manifold, 3 - Bolt Uppipe, Twin Scroll USDM Downpipe, and Bracket. Turbo features: Journal bearing, Standard Subaru 5 - Bolts flange, 51 mm compressor wheel inlet, 58 mm compressor wheel outlet, 68 mm turbine wheel inlet, 56 mm turbine wheel outlet, 1 Bar / 14.7 psi actuator, 8 cm2 turbine housing, and can reach a max power of 500 HP.

Using your Tomioka TD06 - 20G Twin Scroll Turbo Kit is straightforward. First, make sure your Subaru WRX or STI engine is turned off and cooled down. Then, carefully remove the old turbo components and replace them with the parts from the kit, following the included instructions. When it comes to installation, it's a direct bolt - on, but if you're not confident, it's best to have a professional do it. During use, keep an eye on the boost pressure to ensure it doesn't exceed the recommended 1 Bar / 14.7 psi. For maintenance, regularly check the turbo for any signs of damage or leaks. Also, change the engine oil at the recommended intervals as clean oil is crucial for the turbo's journal bearing. If you notice any strange noises or a drop in performance, stop using the vehicle and have it inspected right away.
