The Subaru XR Red turbocharger features our HTZ 79 compressor wheel in an 84MM Flow Advancement Port compressor cover, delivering massive and reliable power. Like the well - loved journal bearing Red, this unit uses our Xona Ball Bearing CHRA, which offers greater durability in low - oil - flow situations such as road racing or autocross. All Subaru XR turbos come with an oil return flange and a set of - 4 water fittings for custom water feed/return lines. Tirado Custom Coatings offers ceramic coating. A gasket set is included. The compressor wheel is 79HTZ with a flow rating of 65LB per minute. CW measurements are 57MM inducer / 79MM exducer, and TW measurements are 67.7MM inducer / 62.2MM exducer. The compressor housing is an 84MM FAP Cover, and the turbine housing is an FP 10CM Subaru Turbine Housing. The CHRA is a Xona Rotor Ball Bearing, and the oil line is not included. Note that the 84MM FAP Cover requires a TGV Delete to fit in the stock location. All Forced Performance turbochargers are built to your exact specifications. Build times vary, so we can't guarantee a delivery date. All Subaru turbos have a 1 bar actuator if bought with an internal wastegate.




Using this turbocharger is quite straightforward. First, make sure to install it according to the vehicle's manual and with the included gasket set. The turbo comes with an oil return flange and - 4 water fittings, which you can use to create your custom water feed and return lines. However, remember that the oil line is not included, so you'll need to get one separately. When it comes to using it in your Subaru WRX or STI, it's designed to provide massive power, but be aware that if you're doing road racing or autocross where oil flow might be low, the Xona Ball Bearing CHRA gives it better durability. Regarding maintenance, regularly check the oil levels and the condition of the turbo components. If you choose the ceramic coating option from Tirado Custom Coatings, follow their specific maintenance advice. Keep in mind that the 84MM FAP Cover requires a TGV Delete to fit properly in the stock location. Also, since these turbochargers are built to order, the build time can vary, and we can't promise a specific delivery date, so plan your installation accordingly. And if you buy a Subaru turbo with an internal wastegate, it comes with a 1 bar actuator.
