Product Information

Part #: TR - TS1024. Upgrade your Subaru WRX 2002 - 2007 or STI 2004+ with the popular TD05 - 16G replacement turbocharger featuring a billet compressor wheel. It's a great step up from the factory VF turbo. The billet wheel boosts air flow by at least 10% compared to the standard TD05 - 16G, leading to higher horsepower. This turbo comes with all the necessary fittings and gaskets, ready to install right out of the box. It's the ultimate all - around turbo upgrade! Turbo Characteristics: Type - TD05 - 16G, Bearing - Journal, Flange - Standard Subaru 5 Bolt, Compressor Diameter - Inlet 48.3 mm, Outlet 68 mm, Turbine Diameter - Inlet 56 mm, Outlet 49.2 mm, Turbo Boost - 1.3 bar / 19 PSI, Maximum Power - 400 HP. Kit Contents: Turbocharger, Actuator, Oil Pipe, Water Pipe, Gaskets.

Using your new Tomioka TD05 - 16G turbocharger is easy. First, make sure your Subaru WRX or STI engine is turned off and cooled down. Take the turbocharger out of the box and check that all the parts in the kit are there. Install the turbocharger using the included fittings and gaskets. Connect the oil pipe and water pipe carefully as described in your vehicle's manual. When starting the engine for the first time after installation, let it run for a few minutes to make sure the turbo is getting proper lubrication. As for maintenance, regularly check the oil level and the condition of the gaskets. If you notice any leaks or strange noises, stop using the vehicle and have it checked by a professional. Also, follow your vehicle's recommended service intervals for the best performance of the turbocharger.
