Product Information

Part #: SUSH9 - C. Want to make your vehicle rev up faster? Add this one - piece carbon fiber driveshaft! It's a 2.75 - foot carbon fiber shaft for the Subaru WRX Sti, about half the weight of the factory two - piece driveshaft. This one - piece shaft has larger, replaceable u - joints and can handle up to 850WHP and a top speed of 180 MPH. We custom - wound the tubing with high - modulus fiber for strength while keeping it small enough to fit under the car. You can use all factory shields, plates, and covers without modifying the car. The ends are made of 6061 - T6 aluminum, and the shaft weighs just 12.2 lbs. Installing this single shaft makes your car more responsive and reduces noise. It's available for most popular motor/trans combinations, and custom shafts are also an option if yours isn't listed. Note: This driveshaft is rated for 850WHP and 180MPH, not recommended for higher speeds. Also, you need to drill the factory differential flange to accept the included 10mm bolts.

Using this driveshaft is straightforward. First, remove the factory two - piece shaft from your Subaru STI. Then, drill the factory differential flange to accept the 10mm bolts that come with the product. After that, install the new one - piece carbon fiber driveshaft. When driving, keep in mind that this driveshaft is rated for a maximum of 850WHP and a top speed of 180 MPH, so don't exceed these limits. For maintenance, regularly check the u - joints for any signs of wear. You can clean the shaft with a mild soap and water solution to keep it in good condition. If you notice any strange noises or vibrations, it's a good idea to have it inspected by a professional.
